I absolutely love the feeling when I find a rad retro apron at the local thrift shop. I’ve been trying to find more and more but they can be rare to come across, so i thought what the heck….I’m makin my own! There are so many tutorials out there on the net, though i’ve compiled a great little list here for you. They’re all good for begginers, and basic enough that you could customise them easily to individualise to your taste. Pockets, frills, buttons, colours, prints, fabrics…so many different options!

Wholly amazing diy. I love tea so much! It gets me down to have it all stored in tins where i cant see the prettiness of the tea. This is an amazing idea, I’m doing it this weekend. I hope i don’t get carried away and paint the house in chalk. I’ll let you know how i go!

Buy the paint here and I have seen some jars exactly like these in Brisbane ( for you QLD readers ) at this cool store in Bowen Hills. Otherwise, google!

My latest thrift find. I found one of these at another op shop about a month ago but it wasn’t a pair so i didn’t buy it. This weekend though i found a pair and huzzah! $4. Bargain, i know! Saw a new Vinnies out in Zillmere the other day so i think i’m going to sneak out there this weekend when no one is watching.
